Adriane and Brandan Borgias’ visits to India began in 2006. With a team of US colleagues they provided environmental training to Indian professionals.  In 2010-2011, Adriane’s Fulbright Scholarship brought them back to India, where they were stationed for 4 months in Bangalore. Curiosity took them to Bhopal, the site of the worst environmental disaster in history — the Bhopal gas tragedy of Dec 3, 1984.  They discovered to their surprise that modern Bhopal is a vibrant and growing city. The friends they made during that visit provided the opportunity to return again in 2014 as part of an Indo-US Seminar on Hazardous Waste Management.  Adriane and Brandan are dedicating this slide show to the 30th anniversary of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy and its survivors. Come experience the sights and culture of Bhopal in the heart of India.
