Marilyn Bashore’s Celebration of Life – Saturday, March 11th

Dear Friends,

Earlier you received an email about Marilyn Bashore’s death on January 25th. Marilyn’s Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, March 11th @ 1:00 PM.

The location will be the Bethany Presbyterian Church, located at 2607 South Ray. If you are driving from the freeway heading South up the hill on Ray, turn East (left) @ 26th Avenue. If you are heading North on Ray from 29th Avenue, turn East (right) @ 27th. Immediately after each turn there is a narrow driveway leading down to the church parking lot. The church entrance is on the South.

The Spokane Camera Club meets at this church. The SCC will provide their print racks to display many of Marilyn’s beautiful prints.Come early and stay late to enjoy the display. Back in the film days, Marilyn was compositing multiple images into a single print. Digital photography editing freed her to do even more creative imagery. More of her digital imagery will be featured in her life video .

Marlene “Murphy” Sullivan, a former Spokane Camera Club member and current divinity student will conduct Marilyn’s Celebration of Life. After the program please join us for light refreshments and remembrances.

If you have a photo-vest, you might wear it in memory of Marilyn. If you are one of Marilyn’s “Texas Hold-em” colleagues, you may want to wear a playing card on your lapel. Note: Black is OK for this celebration as it was Marilyn’s favorite color.

She may be “Gone from our sight but not our hearts”

We hope that you will join us for this celebration.
